Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer was always hoping to be a multi-tasking celebrity. In her youth she played a myriad of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean rhythms like salsa, merengue and bachata, and mainstream music like pop, hip-hop and R&B. Even though she was an avid music lover however, the movie industry attracted her. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer isn't only a skilled entertainer. She also spent 8 years at an Catholic primary school, called Holy Family. Jennifer then was able to graduate after 4 years at Preston High School. Jennifer excelled in athletics at school and participated in track and field as well as tennis. Her home in the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her home for most of her adult life. Jennifer moved out of her home with her parents when she was age 18 and moved out. Lopez was hired at a legal firm at work during the day, and then took on dance positions at night.
